When it comes to heartbreak, people often believe they can think or rationalise their way out of pain, as if standing on some logical "higher ground" will fix how they feel. But heartbreak is not a problem to be solved. It is a time to let the ego drop, to immerse in the pain, to let it move through your body and soul - to feel it at full force. Screw shame, screw needing to feel like you "won" - who cares? The soul knows the truth. If it hurts, let it hurt. If you want to cry, cry. If you want to scream, scream. If you need to lie on the floor, lie on the floor. Do whatever you need to do to get through.
Heartbreak is never just about the person, it is also about mourning a future you once believed in - and about the conscious choice to fragment your heart and soul. You cannot unlove someone you have truly loved, thus, letting go becomes an act of self-fracture - a decision to splinter your heart and soul. And it should hurt, it is meant to. The least you can do is honour it with a proper internal funeral.
Go all out.
Heartbreak is so painful. I feel like not enough people talk about it. You genuinely feel sick to your stomach. You canโt breathe. Everything hurts. Itโs one of the worst feelings ever and I donโt wish it on anyone. 0/10 recommend!!
