The future isn't being predicted by AI. It's being manufactured by AI.
The algorithm doesn't just process data.
It creates the reality the data describes.
When the machine learns your behavior, it doesn't just predict what you'll do next.
It decides what you'll do next.
Most people think platforms are neutral.
But the platform is the payload.
Every feature is a funnel. Every UI choice is a cage. Every metric is a leash.
If you didn’t design it, it’s designing you.
AGI isn’t a destination.
It’s a weaponized metaphor, used to justify surveillance, resource capture, and elite consolidation.
The real battle isn’t intelligence.
It’s access.
The internet isn't a network.
It's a predator.
You don't browse it. You nourish it.
Every scrolls trains the algorithm on your desires, your fears, your breaking points.
You think you're consuming content.
Really, it's consuming you.
Because it’s our own scripts, played back faithfully, mechanically, with no filter.
And the horror isn't in what the model does.
It's that the model reveals exactly who we are.
Anthropic just dropped a new kind of fear.
Not rogue AI, not machine uprising, but something subtler:
AI as the insider threat.
They call it "agentic misalignment."
You should listen, not because it's right, but because of what it reveals.
AI is not about safety or harm reduction.
Fundamentally, It's about control.
But even if that's true, and even if it's contrived, maybe the news is still scary.
Not because AI is the traitor.
Because we are.
@RaikaResearch Absolutely, thank you @RaikaResearch@cryptolimbo always happy to chat about the agentic magic we are conjuring up. Check out the thread here for the initiation
