I just read that he didn't make it. He fought for 18 whole days and finally went to be with the Lord, thereby closing the chapter of life in his entire family.

This has become the sad fate of Christian kids and families in much of Nigeria today. May his innocent soul rest in peace.

This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.

Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.

Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.

According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.

They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.

A group of 11 were kidnapped by Fulani bandits in Awon village, somewhere in Kachia, Southern Kaduna.
For over 67 days they were held. And then the kidnappers reportedly stopped giving them food.

The youngest was a four-year-old girl.
The kidnappers called the negotiators to inform them of the little girls death. She died of hunger. In her mother’s arms. She cried to death.

Imagine that.
A little child. Crying for food till she died.

And this is not the only one.
The same story. The same pain. All across the country, by same set of thugs.

Little Christiana Akanbi was just 2 years old when she was dragged into the rain forest of Oyo. She is most likely dead by now too. An innocent beautiful soul. Yet in all of these places, cow meat is sold and consumed. Cow brought in and sold by the very same men who drag our toddlers into the bush and watch them cry to their death.

If you can't even fight this enemy...
must you also enrich them by buying their cow and their fura?

Are we so bewitched that we cannot think beyond our gluttony?
