🚨 Thomas Tuchel throwing away a World Cup Finals spot because of pure tactical cowardice is a complete and utter embarrassment.

England completely dominated the first half hour and deservedly took the lead through Anthony Gordon’s lightning fast finish in the 54th minute. But instead of keeping the high press structure, Tuchel panicked.

Subbing off your most explosive transition threat (Gordon) for a defensive center back (Ezri Konsa) in the 72nd minute is a tactical crime. You don't protect a 1-0 lead against Argentina by dropping into a passive low block and inviting Lionel Messi to camp outside your box.

Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martínez punished us exactly as they deserved to. Cowardly football gets cowardly result.
