A billionaire businessman, oil magnate, and philanthropist from Delta State, Chief Dr. Daniel Omoyibo (Danmotech), went out casually to have his hair barbered at a saloon with two barbers.

When he explained the haircut to the first barber, he was charged 5k and he priced it at 2k which he believed to be the appropriate price. The first barber insisted on the price he gave and the man was about to leave when the other barber called him back saying 'It was still morning'. He agreed to the price.

While the man had his haircut, they interacted, and he got to know that he is from Kogi and working for the shop owner. When asked how much will set up his own barbing saloon, he mentioned 2-3million naira.

[1] As of October 1 2026, Nigeria’s six geo-political zones will become official and constitutional organs of government. This means that there will be four tiers of administration in Nigeria - Federal, Zonal, State and Local governments

[2] Nigeria will have six geo-political zones, with each being made up of seven states. Our constitution will prohibit the creation of any more states after these 42

[3] As part of this restructure, we will abolish the federal allocation regime and replace it with resource control under which states will remain the federating units. Revenue distribution will be as follows - States: 50%; Federation account: 20%; Geo-political zones: 15%; National trust fund: 15%. We shall gradually migrate towards this to achieve our targeted goal by 2040

[4] Geopolitical zones will be responsible for maintaining regional police forces to augment the activities of the Nigerian Police Force

[5] Each geopolitical zone will be constitutionally obliged to generate, distribute and transmit electricity within its domain

[6] Every year, the chairman of the geopolitical zone will rotate among the six governors within it. A chief executive will be appointed to manage what will be a civil service structure

[7] Ultimate authority for the governing of each geo-political zone rests with the committee of governors. There will also be committees of commissioners to deal with matters such as education, health, housing, transport, security, etc

[8] Each geopolitical zone authority will be responsible for secondary specialist healthcare. They will build specialist hospitals in areas such as oncology, HIV/Aids, renal failure, dementia, reproductive health, dermatology, etc

[9] These will be the 42 states that make up the six geopolitical zones:

Iru Ekun Security Network Proves More Effective Than Governor Makinde in Securing Release of Kidnap Victims

The Iru Ekun Security Network, led by Sunday Igboho, successfully secured the release of a pregnant woman, her children, and her sibling from kidnappers in Igboho town on Saturday . The rescue was achieved through a two-hour ultimatum and direct pressure on Fulani leaders, with Igboho insisting that the family would not pay any ransom .

Moments after the rescue, Sunday Igboho arrived in Igboho with the freed victims and was received with a heroic welcome by jubilant residents, who took to the streets to celebrate the successful operation.

Igboho had earlier stormed the palace of the town's monarch to issue the ultimatum, accusing suspected kidnappers, allegedly linked to the Fulani community, of abducting the victims in the dead of night and demanding a ransom of N300 million before reducing it to N150 million .

"You can't be kidnapping in my father's land and expect me to keep quiet. I'm an original indigene of Igboho land," Igboho had warned .

In contrast, the schoolchildren and teachers abducted in Oriire Local Government Area on May 15, some of whom are as young as two years old, remain in captivity weeks later, with Governor Seyi Makinde yet to secure their release, despite pleading for patience and ruling out a direct military intervention.

Igboho has publicly expressed his readiness to deploy the Iru Ekun Security Network to flush out the kidnappers from the Old Oyo National Park, but has claimed he was prevented from doing so by the Oyo State Government . This effectiveness in direct action stands in sharp contrast to what many see as the government's slow and unsuccessful response.
