and suddenly, i didn't care about being noticed, understood, spoken to, texted back, liked, disliked, invited, or talked about. it's quiet now, and i finally found MYSELF.
Just apologize to your partner when you know you messed up bruh… All that manipulative behavior and getting mad at them for being upset when they have a valid reason is just weird. People love to say they’re grown until it’s time to take accountability.
when you finally realize that someone’s behavior has more to do with their internal struggle than it ever did with you, you learn grace. you also naturally learn detachment as well.
a therapist on tiktok said…. “no one notices your sadness until it turns into anger, and then you're the problem. healing is realizing you became the angry person because no one saw your sadness first” felt that.
my therapist said "I don't think you have social anxiety, i think you're surrounded by the wrong people" and that really hit me. the entire time you think it's you, it may just be that the people around you are toxic or do not align with you. be very very careful who you let in.
