@GreenChord_ It’s funny. Being largely a character streamer previously I would create fairly elaborate scenes to use in some of my skits, but I always tried to walk a fine line between high production and low budget. I thought trying to give it a kind of “public access” feel helped
@Roleplayers_TV @sherlock_hulmes The book was the Parzival show, and Artemis was basically window dressing. They go into the Tomb of Horrors and he defeats the Lich by playing joust. They reenact Ferris Bueller, War Games and Monthy Python. Not a scrap of originality can be found in the book
@Roleplayers_TV @sherlock_hulmes See I liked the movie for what it was. But yes, if you don’t like the movie I can’t imagine there being a reality in existence where you would enjoy the book. The book is a sexist, dumpster fire held up by nostalgia. At least the movie tried to give Artemis more to do
@sherlock_hulmes @Roleplayers_TV I completely agree. Could you imagine if they included the part with Parzival going to the brothel simulation and fornicating with a sex robot? Or how about watching him reenact Monty Python and the holy grail? Woooo. Given the source material they had to work with... yeesh
