@NADIMINAJ@NICKIMINAJ I don’t know 😭😭but i hope she has a partnership with Elon or investment from Elon with her business startup because I want her to cement herself to that field.😭😭
A decision stands unless and until it is set aside by a Court of law. That decision is incapable of being set aside by a court unless or until the decision is challenged, in this instance via review. THAT is the precursor. You cannot have parallel processes running (one in parliament and one in court) in respect of the same decision. Should the decision be successfully challenged on review and all appeal processes thereafter come to naught, there cannot and shall not be impeachment proceedings.
Should the review be unsuccessful (which I am inclined to believe), and CR challenges it all the way up to the Constitutional Court, the impeachment proceedings, which shall, until such time as all his appeal remedies have been exhausted, be reignited UNLESS or UNTIL he resigns prior to the commencement of such impeachment proceedings.
Statutory interpretation is not called the Cinderella of the Law for nothing.
Constitutional interpretation is so much more challenging.
Forget the target, ask yourself what it is that the CC said and what it is they did not say.
The language CR used during his address, the language he uses in his review application is regrettable. His categorization of the report as a product of 'fools' [my descriptor], will not endear him to the bench.
Yes, he has reached a stage of absolute desperado. That decorum and aura he once had, is slowly being peeled away as the tapestry unravels. The are too many instances where he uses the courts to silence his detractors - the donors, the cupcake leaks are but a few examples.
And what I'll say now, is exactly what I said at the time when JZ was on the cusp of being booted out. Take a leaf out of Mbeki's book (his recent contradictions notwithstanding), and walk away with your dignity intact.
South Africa has capable leaders and please don't underestimate our intelligence, the aim is not to catapult any faction or person to an office they don't deserve. This is not about your differences with Zuma and his cabal. It is blatant that notwithstanding your claims, corruption has metastasized, even under your watch. Look at the rot within the criminal justice cluster. Regardless, you are entitled to exercise your rights.
*P.S. please note. I am not inviting debate. This is my viewpoint. I suffer from no inferiority complex. I am proud UNISA graduate with 3 law degrees going on a fourth. This 'opinion' is based on my understanding of the law and my viewpoint of politics. If you want to debate - pha kwa hell please 🙏
Duduzane Zuma telling @penuelist_ of how Mozambique Zimbabwe and Zambia took care of him and his father, hosted him, never treated him badly despite his being a Zulu.
Where do these other Zulu tribalists get their hate from?

So, I got to understand clearly the specific defined roles that Commissioners Baloyi and Khumalo play as Co-Commissioners, which explains their line of questioning whenever they probe the witness. It's not just asking for the sake of asking, they are fulfilling a specific mandate.
Commissioner Baloyi: Senior counsel assisting the Chairperson with legal analysis and recommendations.
Commissioner Khumalo: Assists the Commission with investigative inquiries and oversight of evidentiary processes.
So when Commissioner Baloyi says "Hang on, before you proceed, can I get this clear, can you please clarify, when you say..." "Can I put this proposition to you...", she's already analyzing the evidence you are presenting so that she and the other Commissioners can start thinking about the recommendations they are going to make about you and everything related to your evidence.
When Commissioner Khumalo says "go to Annexure B, page 185, paragraph 4, he is zooming into the actual evidence that the Investigators have come up with and the Evidence Leaders have packaged, which he oversees. So he's thourough like that so thst he doesn't leave any stone unturned. He closes the gaps, hence I've always called him the Striker at the goal posts after Commissioner Baloyi has passed her the ball. 😄
