@prettyalbatross@goldtoothedworm@berkie1 Ok. I disagree. I think it standing out the way it does makes it an eyesore compared to the historical buildings of Boston. It hurts the visual flow of the city. Typical government architecture does serve a purpose to a layman so they can easily recognize a government building.
@prettyalbatross@goldtoothedworm@berkie1 You gonna respond to the argument or cry over a meme quote tweet? Cause I actually am curious to see why you like the new city hall over the old one.
@berkie1 Gorgeous. Anyone who likes that brutalist dystopian piece of trash more than this is a subhuman and I won't hear otherwise. Not even a competition. I can't imagine the cold, sterile, depressing people that would find current city hall "beautiful".
@goldtoothedworm@prettyalbatross@berkie1 Good architecture is dystopian, gray, soulless, ugly concrete slop? I disagree. I notice that people who support brutalism say beauty is subjective, while simultaneously saying that brutalism is objectively good and no one is allowed to disagree. So yes, you're retarded.

@berkie1 There's a reason Poland and other countries are restoring their classical architecture. A majority of people have a natural response to beauty that makes them feel good. It is better for the general population to have beautiful architecture to boost their mood.
