What a fabulous first day back! A very smart, grown up bunch of Year 4s have arrived back with me! Weβve had a busy day making poplets on how to have a successful year, keynotes about what a good friend says and does, and self portraits as well as catching up with friends π
We have set up our own plant investigation today, after discussing what a plant needs in order to grow. We will see in a few weeks time the difference in each plant, after living in a variety of conditions.
This afternoon in music, we did some rhythm work, before playing the glockenspiel. After, we went onto GarageBand and played some simple songs on the piano using notes C and D πΆ
Excitement was VERY high this afternoon as we were all given our very own iPads with our own names on! We are beginning our iPad journey by exploring features of iPads, through Appleβs β30 creative activities for kids.β We laughed lots when using markup to edit photos!
Thoroughly enjoyed watching @GuidedogMilo on @thismorning on catch up today! Around 45 minutes in is a beautiful feature on how truly brilliant Milo is and how much joy #guidedogs bring to families π We officially have a member of our class who is now a tv star too βοΈ

During #britishscienceweek we thought about technological inventions that may help people who are visually impaired. Today, we got to see how it felt for visually impaired people to get out and about, using friends guidance and canes, kindly lent from @GuidedogMilo
