Yesterday, the Government House security team denied the Speaker and members of the House access to their temporary plenary facility.

Today, the House Leader is offering lengthy explanations to downplay what the public clearly watched in that video.

Just yesterday, lawmakers were allegedly treated like a security concern. Today, they are back in the same facility after earlier directives suggesting relocation to their usual sitting venue.

The optics, the reactions, and the explanations simply do not align.

Politics can explain many things, but videos have a stubborn way of preserving reality.
