Foi essa pergunta que tentamos responder no artigo “Becoming or Getting by”: Youths’ Inclination to Join a Military Career in Times of Crisis in Brazil, publicado hoje na Armed Forces and Society, principal revista científica que trata das relações civis militares no mundo.
Nossa equipe analisou uma base de dados original com mais de 2.000 registros com informações detalhadas sobre as aspirações profissionais de pessoas entre 16 e 26 anos.
Entre os achados, pessoas mais conservadoras exibem maior propensão a optar por esse tipo de carreira. Não brancos também demonstram maior interesse.
