Today we honour International Holocaust Remembrance Day, marking the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
We remember the 6 million Jewish victims and millions of others persecuted under Nazism, including persons with disabilities and LGBTQ+ persons.
@KingsAtWestern Today and always, King’s honours the Holocaust victims and stands against antisemitism and racism. I am proud to serve on the Committee on Ethics, Religion, and the Holocaust at the @HolocaustMuseum, and advising on education and research in this vital history.
Holocaust education is crucial for promoting understanding and combatting intolerance and hate. At @KingsAtWestern, we offer opportunities for in-depth study of the Holocaust's origins, events, and its impact on human rights globally.
From all of us at King's, we wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas, a joyful and peaceful holiday season, and a New Year filled with happiness, peace, and a sense of renewal. 🎄
We can't wait to see you in the new year!

On Dec. 6, 1989, 14 women were tragically murdered in an act of gender-based violence at l'École Polytechnique.
This day reminds us of the ongoing struggles faced by women, girls, LGBTQ2S+, and gender-diverse individuals worldwide. #GBV#NDRAVAW

“I want to take a moment to acknowledge your hard work & dedication. Take time to reflect on what you want to achieve. King’s mission and values will manifest in the good you will go on to do in the world.” - @KingsPres addressing the 2024 King’s Fall grads. Congratulations! 🎓
Seeing students engage with professors, peers & staff is testament to the power of a liberal arts education, which is relational at heart. My hope for the #Classof2024 is that the relationships they’ve built guide them toward lives of meaning, purpose & service. Congratulations!
As a first-generation student, choosing King’s was truly a life-changing decision. Now, as a proud @KUCalumni and President (Interim) it’s a special privilege to attend Convocation to celebrate the academic achievements of our graduating class.
It was an honour to share the stage @stratfest with Dr. Paul Werstine, Distinguished University Professor and proud @KUCalumni. His insights into Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night captivated the audience, as his teachings have inspired countless students since 1976 @KingsAtWestern.
King's faculty has been awarded over $1.2 million in grants from @SSHRC_CRSH. These grants provide crucial support for new and ongoing #Research efforts.
Congratulations to all the grant recipients! https://t.co/cA9bMIKoiL
