for those of you that follow me here and not elsewhere, I'm going to be around less than I usually am going forward. Nothing bad has happened, and nothing has gotten worse. My many disabilities are just taking a toll and I'm getting really burnt out and I need to cut back
According to @BBCWORLD people "have died" in #Gaza from the attacks carried out by the #IDF but people "have been killed" in #Israel by the attacks of #Hamas.
The protection of civilians is the paramount tenet of human security.
Any operation that targets civilians or is indiscriminate will perpetuate the cycle of violence.
Security cannot be achieved through those means, no matter who is employing them.
Disabled people are more than 25% of the population.
Disabled people are not a niche group.
We don’t need disability awareness.
We need ableism awareness and action to combat disability discrimination.

The Israeli government has cut off food, water, and fuel to 2 million people inside Gaza. Collective punishment is not only contrary to international law, it is inhumane and illogical. How will this deescalate the violence rather than radicalize many more? It is madness.
I recognize the legitimate grievances of the Palestinian people. But nothing can justify acts of terror & the killing, maiming & abduction of civilians.
I reiterate my call to immediately cease these attacks & release all hostages.
The Iraqi guy i follow on IG who does funny nature videos in broken English just posted a more compassionate and well written statement then like 90% of activists and journalists I’ve seen.
