Because of the call centre, we found that it is 76% less likely for someone who receives homelessness prevention funding to end up homeless

When faced with a changing environment we need to find opportunities, engage stakeholders, and execute the strategies. #kingshour #nonprofit

We wanted to improve access, bring funds together from all organizations, and develop a call centre for homelessness prevention. #kingshour

Once the goals and strategies are identified, it takes careful leadership and preparation to reach them. Collaboration is key #kingshour

They had to connect with everyone in homelessness prevention to make real change happen. #kingshour #homelessness #nonprofits

PM Trudeau had to examine how to keep the US-Canada relationship strong. This mirrors what @NonieBrennan had to do in Chicago #kingshour

People who needed help had to call many social service agencies just to find out if there was help available, making their situation worse

The Emergency Fund realized they were in the homeless prevention business and began to examine what their role here was #kingshour

The Emergency Fund had 80% of funds going to rent or utilities. This was an ah-ha moment for @NonieBrennan #kingshour
