It's fascinating when you think about it:

A lot of the technology/framework powering the world today is free.

Linux. Docker. Kafka. PostgreSQL.

What I find even more amazing is that a developer in Lagos has access to the same world-class tools as engineers at some of the biggest tech companies.

That's one of the reasons it's never been easier to build great software.
