Bauchi State has always been home to Islamic terrorists and Islamic Extremists who kill Christians at any chance they get.

I saw a post where someone was trying to gaslight Nigerians that Bauchi was always safe for Christian in the past.

Bloody Lies!!!

In 2011, when Buhari a Muslim, lost elections to Goodluck Jonathan a Christian; Islamic terrorists in the north interpreted it as a spite on their religion and their Muslim champion Buhari.

And falsely accused Christians and southerners of rigging the elections.

How did they respond? They went into the streets of Northern Nigeria and killed more than 700 innocent Christians.

The worst place for Christians during that attack was Bauchi State.

The Giade Massacre (Bauchi State):
In one of the most horrific incidents,of Christians massacre, Muslims in the town of Giade in Bauchi attacked a group of Christian and southern corps members.

Some corps members fled to a local police station for protection, but the mob stormed the police station, killed the officer on duty, killed every copper and set the building on fire.

They gang raped a female corps member then they butchered her into pieces.

The NYSC members who were killed in the Bauchi massacre included Adewumi Seun (Ekiti), Teidi Tosin (Kogi), Adowei Elliot (Bayelsa), Okpokiri Obinna (Abia), Gbenjo Ayotunde (Osun), Ukeoma Chibuzor (Imo), Nwazema Chukwuonyerem (Imo), Adeniji Jehleel (Osun), and Akonyi Sule (Kogi).

Some of the people who carried out that massacre are online today gaslighting Nigerians and accusing us of islamophobia.

To non-Christians like myself too, we need to realize the potential danger here. A Christian-majority social order has proven to be more tolerant of ideological diversity. Atheists, feminists, proponents of African Traditional Religion and other worldviews, can still exist publicly, criticize Christianity, or advocate alternative practices without facing existential threat or suppression.

So if Christianity falls in Nigeria, the alternative dominant order would be less tolerant of us. We are going to face stronger restrictions and persecution.
So even if you oppose Christianity intellectually, ur ability to oppose it safely depends on Christianity remaining dominant.
Choose your battle wisely.
