My husband paid for my mom's hospital bills
Unfortunately the same day he paid the money 270k my mom passed. My husband remarked oh thankfully i transfered the money to your brother's account. Tell him to send my money asap.
Immediately we received the news of my mom's passing he said he wants his money back and in full. I told him that will be awkward. Even as it's the same day, my brother had already paid for a particular test. He said he didn't pay anything that the nurse said until the second test comes out that's when they will determine if to go on with the test.
I pleaded with him that it will be shemeful of him to ask back his money because my brothers have tried even more than us, right from the first day my mom was taken to the hospital my sister and my last brother has been there. I know how much I saw my brothers paid. What about me? This is our first payment since she was brought from the village.
Yet my husband called my elder brother and asked for his money.
That first day I went there with 12k I paid for cloves and some stuffs.
So when my husband asked of the money, for three days my brothers did not respond to him.
My husband made life so difficult at home he stopped giving me feeding money, l started feeding myself and our kids with my savings.
On the Fourth day he said this thing will be the end of our marriage. I had to call my brothers myself and told them everything. My elder brother got Engry and said I am a fool for calling him. That I should let him end the marriage than me asking him to return what my husband paid for my mom. He said I'm a big fool. I just told I have accepted please return his money. I sent my account number Low and behold my brother sent 282, 000 naira.
I called him why he sent 282k he said he's refunding my 12k | paid too.
I told him he shouldn't have, he warned me to stay afar from all of them till we come to our senses. He also said I should stay away during our mother's burial that he doesn't want anything from my husband and I.
I don't know what I have done to deserve this. What kind of people did I associate myself with calling them family when the can't understand me or want my happiness? I tried to explain he ended the call on me. I tried calling my other siblings they refused to listen to me. They started the burial arrangements and didn't inform I and my husband. They created a WhatsApp group but did not add us. I went to my elder brother's shop his wife ordered me out.
While he sat down watching. Please was I wrong?
Why are not interested in my happiness?
