Finally, thanks also to the fans from Ulster & Leinster who we met in the Fanzones at the Horse Show House Bar & Sandymount Hotel who were very generous. I also appreciated their efforts in helping me re-hydrate..! Now thats probably everyone thanked - apart from Mr. Eastwood!
I just want to say a huge thanks to all who supported me along the way, through donating, tooting their horn and/or waving as I walked, gave me food & drink and also shops that gave me items FOC - it all gave great encouragement.
Apologies for lack of updates since the walk, though I'm pleased to report I've recovered, the 3 broken toenails have regrown and shin splints have healed! I'll be up at @KingspanStadium for todays Ulster v Leinster match where I'll be presenting a cheque to the @IRFUCharTrust
Now in The Coast Inn in Skerries to enjoy a well deserved bite & pint. Tired but feeling much better & refreshed after a bath & energised due to the generosity of the people I've met.
On the road again! Great night with the @skerriesrugby lads and stay at RedBank House, Skerries. Currently on Lusk Rd heading to Swords. Will then get to outskirts of Dublin before heading up Grafton St then Leeson St & on to Pembroke Rd for quick R&R - look out for me!!
After a quick refuel & rest in Drogheda, itโs back on the road to Skerries. Hopefully linking up with some @skerriesrugby lads later for much needed wind down & rehydration!
