RCSLT London Bridge Visit to Your HealthCare by Steve Jamieson ,CEO of the Royal college of speech and language therapists (RCSLT) , a number of members of the Involve Kingston team visited Steve and his team at the office base in London bridge.

Recently Involve had a meeting with Choice support Richmand To find out what they do. They help people with any needs to find a job and help with their CV and looking for the right job for them.

In December, a few members of the Involve Team visited Hillcroft College. The course leader took us for a tour around the college, visiting classes and talking about the courses they do for people with learning disabilities.

A member of the Involve Team attended the New Train Launch for the new Arterio Trains at London Waterloo, the new trains are wider and more accessible.

The Involve team went to an online meeting about your experiences of using Kingston Hospital, we went into different groups to talk about experiences with someone who works at the hospital, hopefully things will change soon.

We had a meeting with SWR to look at making an easy read about railway staff at stations. These will be available at stations across the borough.

Involve help set up at Bus Day with london united at Tolworth bus garage. We looked around the garage and went on a bus and also talked to the drivers about what people with LD face day to day.

The Involve Team went to the Quaker Centre in Kingston in July to look at the new plans for Kingston Leisure Centre. The plan is to be ready in 2027.

Involve recently attended the Autism and ADHD Partnership Board. We discussed the Sunflower Scheme, Connected Kingston came and talked about changes we would like in Kingston.
