Carbon Monoxide (CO) is known as the “silent killer” — it’s colourless, odourless, and invisible. The only way to detect it in your home is with a working CO alarm.
🚨 Friendly Reminder 🚨
Your smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms are your first line of defense — but only if they’re working properly!
A working alarm gives you and your family the early warning you need to get out safely. Take a few minutes every month — it could save a life.
Is your family prepared in the event of severe winter weather and cold climates?

🚨 The Drowning Problem 🚨
Each year, over 400 Canadians lose their lives in preventable water-related incidents. Even one drowning is one too many.
Let’s work together to keep every Canadian safe around water.
👀Watch Your Kids — Not Your Phone. 📱
Drowning is silent. It can happen in seconds, and it often happens while adults are nearby.
Never take your eyes off children when they're in or around the water — not even for a moment.
🌊 Lakes Are Beautiful — But They Can Be Dangerous.
Whether you're boating, swimming, or just relaxing by the water — safety on the lake matters. Every year, lives are lost in preventable drownings. 🛟
🚨Smoke and CO alarms don’t last forever ! 🚨
Take a moment today to check the date of manufacture on the back of your alarms.
If they’re more than 10 years old, it’s time to replace them — even if they still seem to work.
Old alarms may not detect smoke or CO as effectively
