This morning we had a visit from Jean Yves LaPeyrere and following on from some exciting European wide negotiations, he is now gathering support for a new EU wide Training program hosted by the University of Burgundy in France. Exciting times ahead with new partnerships!

We’d like to say a big Congratulations to our very own Emma O’Donnell who qualified as a Senior Sailing Instructor. Emma has worked really hard over many years of great experience to qualify at this level. Join us in saying well done!

Our Young Mariners had a very busy day yesterday. They conducted two extensive Beach Clean at the Dock Beach, Kinsale and Garrylucas Beach near the Old Head.

As you can see they gathered quite a lot of plastics and rubbish that has washed over recent rough weather.

Just back from a beautiful experience sea kayaking at the Old Head of Kinsale. Sunset to the west, moon rising to the east. A lovely way to finish the day.

Our first week of our new program in conjunction with Cork Local Sports Partnership has been a great success. Of course the beautiful Autumn weather has helped a lot. Well done everyone involved.
