1. Draw Up an Evacuation Plan with your family.
2. Practice at least once a year with your family.
3. Sleep with your Bedroom Doors Closed.
4. Feel the closed door with the back of your hand.

Dress warmly in layers.
Turn off/unplug the space heaters when you go to bed or leave the room. REMEMBER IT'S ALWAYS BETTER TO PUT ON MORE BLANKETS TO STAY WARM, THAN TO BURN UP IN A FIRE.

Continuing Winter Fire Safety Month:
Christmas lights can only be strung by their proper amount of strings
Ensure to use Exterior approved lights/electronic decorations outside
Check wires for cracks, exposed wires and/or broken bulbs
Don't overload an electrical outlet.

Our Training Division held Un-announced Structure Fire Drills for the Shifts using the Multi Apartment Complexes at Simon Bright Apartments. The training was on searches which taxed their man power and Unit Assignments along with Re-assignments.
