@MDSHA @MontgomeryCoMD One other point is that it makes it impossible to get to the intersection to make a right turn. you have to sit and wait a lot in the lanes of traffic to get to the point where you can finally turn right, which would’ve taken you no time had the lanes not been closed.

@MDSHA @MontgomeryCoMD Lastly, I am off for pedestrian safety, especially crosswalks with proper signals when it’s more than a 2 Lane road. These lane should be restored to traffic and proper pedestrian crossings installed.

@MDSHA @MontgomeryCoMD These lanes are hardly used. I’ve seen 15 people in three years. And people are not gonna be using them when it rain snows or in very hot weather, which is eight or nine months of our year.

1. The traffic travel times have increased dramatically as I have driven this road over the last three years 3 to 4 times weekly. Even though the article says it’s a minute it’s more like 5 to 10 and that’s non-peak hours.
