2026 QASO TRAINING
CEMASTEA Chairman Dr. Pius Mutisya has challenged Quality and Standards Assurance Officers (QASOs) to lead the quest for quality delivery of the STEM curriculum in schools for meaningful education.
Bamboo: One of nature's most underutilised tools for landscape restoration
Standing in the Ngong Hills, looking across a landscape where #bamboo holds the hillside together literally, it's hard not to think about how much more we could be doing with this plant on a national scale.
Bamboo is not just fast-growing. It is structurally extraordinary for erosion control and riparian restoration:
🌱 Root architecture that acts like a net: Bamboo's dense, interconnected rhizome system binds soil far more effectively than most tree species, particularly on steep slopes and riverbanks where shear forces are highest. Studies across East Africa show bamboo can #reducesoil loss by up to 75% compared to bare or degraded land.
💧 Riverbank stabilisation: Bamboo planted along watercourses slows lateral #erosion and riverbank expansion dramatically. Its culms absorb flood energy; its roots anchor the bank. In Kenya's highland river systems, including those feeding into the Athi and Tana basins, uncontrolled bank erosion is one of the leading contributors to #sedimentation, reduced dry-season flows, and downstream flooding. Bamboo addresses all three simultaneously.
🌊 Water regulation: Bamboo stands increase infiltration rates, recharging groundwater rather than shedding rainfall as runoff. A healthy bamboo belt along a stream can extend base flows well into the dry season, which matters enormously for #agriculture, #livestock, and downstream #communities.
🏗️ Carbon and livelihoods in the same plant: Beyond its ecological function, bamboo sequesters #carbon at rates comparable to or exceeding many tree species, and offers tangible #livelihood value: construction materials, furniture, charcoal substitutes, and increasingly, high-value export products. Kenya's NLER 2023–2032 specifically identifies bamboo development in #ASAL transition zones (Baringo, Kitui, Makueni, Isiolo) as a priority restoration pathway and for good reason.
The Ngong Hills have a quiet story to tell about what intact vegetation cover does for a hillside. The question is whether we are listening fast enough to apply it at the scale that Kenya's degraded riverbanks and eroding slopes urgently need.
The tools exist. The knowledge exists. What's needed now is investment, policy coherence, and the will to treat bamboo as the serious restoration and climate solution it is, not just an ornamental feature of highland landscapes.

"A’isha was 6. Your Prophet ﷺ was a pedophile.” 🚨
Here is the Islamic reality you need to know not the Western, p∆rn-rotted fantasies.
In the 7th century across Arabia, Europe, Judaism, Christianity, and South Asia adulthood was defined by puberty and capacity, not by arbitrary numbers written centuries later.
This was the global human standard. Islam did not invent it, Islam regulated it with responsibility, rights, and dignity.
Now I dare you to define your accusation.
Pedophilia is a pathological attraction to pre-pubescent children.
So where is your evidence biological, historical, or textual that A’isha (رضي الله عنها) was pre-pubescent at marriage?
A number alone is not proof.
And here is where your hypocrisy becomes exposed.
A’isha (رضي الله عنها) spoke about her marriage openly. She loved the Prophet ﷺ, lived with him publicly, joked with him, learned from him, and after his death became one of the greatest jurists and scholars of Islam. She narrated over two thousand hadith. She taught men who later led the ummah.
She never described abuse.
She never expressed trauma.
She never showed regret.
So who exactly are you defending? her or your hatred?
Allah says:
“The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves.” (Qur’an 33:6)
This closeness was not exploitation.
It was mercy, guardianship, and honor something your culture, with its abuse statistics, lectures others about.
And ask yourself this honestly.
The Prophet ﷺ lived among enemies who hated him, followed his every move, and searched desperately for moral faults. They accused him of lying, sorcery, madness yet never sexual corruption.
Are you claiming that those who lived with him daily were blind, and you 🤡 1400 years later, educated by tweets and p∆rnified morals see the truth?
Look at the full life first.
The Prophet ﷺ married widows, older women, and divorcees. There is no predatory pattern. Predators repeat behavior. Did he (ﷺ) ever marry anyone of the same age again?
And the irony is,
Non-Muslims who actually studied Muhammad ﷺ reached the opposite conclusion.
Thomas Carlyle (On Heroes and Hero Worship) called him sincere and truthful.
Michael H. Hart (The 100) ranked him the most influential human in history.
George Bernard Shaw said humanity would need Muhammad ﷺ to solve its crises.
And others admired his (ﷺ) moral discipline.
What you all are doing is nothing but slander, ignorance, and moral arrogance.
In Islam, accusing someone of sexual immorality without proof is a major sin not a joke, not ‘free speech’.
It is a monstrous lie. (Qur’an 24:16)
So, P∆rn addicts shouldn’t dare take his name so lightly. You’re not even the dust beneath his shoes.
People who read history respect him.
People who shout nonsense insult him.
If after 1400 years your strongest argument against Islam is still
“A’isha was 6” like an illiterate clown, then the issue is not Islam.
It is your ignorance and your obsession with Islam. Go learn history.
YOU are the ancestor who changes everything for your bloodline.
You are the golden light in human form,
brought to Earth with a higher purpose.
You didn’t come to repeat old cycles
you came for ancestral healing,
to transform family karma,
to raise the consciousness of generations before and after you.
What heals in you, heals the lineage.
What awakens in you, frees the future.
This isn’t coincidence
it’s a soul mission
I knew a man who lost everything and he became softer. i knew another man who lost everything and he became a monster. same fire different metal. the pain did not decide. they decided. and most people do not know they are deciding.
the ones who transmute pain are dangerous in the good way. they have been somewhere you have not been and they came back with something and you can feel it when they walk into a room. they are not pretending to be okay. they are actually okay and that is terrifying to people who are pretending.
pain that is not transmuted gets transmitted. you will give it to your children. you will give it to everyone you touch. it will leak out of you sideways in ways you cannot see and everyone else can
i do not trust people who have not suffered. there is nothing there yet. they are still theoretical. suffering is the entrance exam and some people fail it forever and some people pass it once and become real.
the secret is you have to go toward it. you have to want it more than it wants you. most people run and the pain follows. the ones who turn around and walk into it come out the other side and there is another side and no one told you because the ones who know cannot explain and the ones who explain do not know.
God buries the gold in the wound
Awakening is not a single moment of enlightenment.
It is a gradual unfolding.
It begins when we stop chasing something outside of ourselves and start unraveling the code within.
Awakening is the sacred metamorphosis of the mind... where neural pathways are rewired and false programs are rewritten with clarity, vision and purpose.
