🎒 I think people are seriously underestimating what @armaniferrante @Backpack is building, and no, I’m not talking about $BP price action.

Look at what the team has been shipping.

🏦 A crypto exchange with spot, perps, lending and unified portfolio infrastructure.

📈 Backpack Securities, bringing real stocks and #ETFs onchain, with 1:1 redemption mechanisms.

🌍 Tokenized exposure to companies like #BlackRock and #Micron, tradable 24/7 on Solana.

🔗 A multichain wallet and exchange ecosystem that keeps expanding.

This is a much bigger ambition than building another crypto trading platform. Backpack is working toward something I’ve wanted to see in crypto for years: One place where traditional finance and crypto actually work together.

And the Solana connection makes this particularly interesting. Every new tokenized asset can bring new users, liquidity and trading activity into the ecosystem. That’s valuable beyond Backpack itself as it creates opportunities for wallets, DEXs, market makers and #DeFi protocols.

Of course, execution, regulation and actual adoption will determine how far this goes but I like the direction.

While much of #crypto is still chasing the next narrative, Backpack is building products that could make the distinction between a brokerage account and a crypto account increasingly irrelevant.
