Today we gather to honor the memory of Professor Jaakko Kangasjärvi. An inspiring leader, mentor, and driving force in our Center of Excellence in Tree Biology. His visionary work shaped our research and our community. We carry his legacy forward, with gratitude and admiration.
My niece has Rett syndrome and we have hoped for a real treatment if not a cure in her lifetime. You can just imagine the excitement that comes with this announcement.

So happy about our @pnas
paper on release of ER-tethered ANAC013 through rhomboid protease RBL2 under hypoxia🌊🙂🥳! It is one of the earliest acting transcription factors involved in mitochondrial retrograde signalling.

I was excited to read the paper by Yan Qiu-Tan and colleagues showing that multiple cyclic nucleotide gated channels (GNGCs) combine to act as ABA-activated Ca2+ channels essential for ABA regulated changes in stomatal aperture. https://t.co/PCWjoep6oh
