The new Mayor of Kirklees had the pleasure of attending her first engagement - the finale of the @andpianofest Music Festival 2025.

The Huddersfield War Memorial Trust invited the Mayor of Kirklees to their annual general meeting.
The charity maintains the war memorial in Greenhead Park and helps provide grants to charitable organisations which provide support for ex-service personnel and the vulnerable.

The Mayor of Kirklees officially opened the new show home at Garrett Grove in Skelmanthorpe.
Artwork inspired by the strong textile history and the former Garrett Mill which was created by Greenhead College student Frances Short is also being displayed in the new show home.

Organised by The Rotary Club of Holmfirth, students had to solve an interactive technology-based task and were required to design, develop and build a solution.
