Why Is Rainbow Stone So Colorful?
Natural sandstone’s vibrant hues come from its mineral makeup. Iron oxides produce red and yellow tones, while organic materials and varying cementing agents add depth. Weathering also enhances these shades, making every piece unique.

A contemporary water garden here on a project in south Manchester.
Simple lines and large open spaces were key here, providing the client with a large format porcelain terrace that hovers over a reflection pool.
