My Gold Outlook for Monday

As you can see in today's chart, Friday's session delivered a complete structural wash, sweeping both sides of the market. Price flushed down to 4,333 - turning around just above the 4,330 previous week low - before surging back up to test 4,450 and closing near 4,390, leaving Gold balanced in the middle of its trading range.

Heading into Monday, with no major economic events on the calendar, price action will be guided purely by technical range boundaries. Holding above 4,355 keeps near-term recovery prospects active toward 4,400 and 4,450, while a breakdown back below 4,355 re-exposes the 4,330 low toward 4,300.

My Gold Outlook for Friday

As you can see in today's chart, Thursday's session saw sellers regain full dominance. Price failed at the 4,479 Asia high and expanded lower, slicing through 4,426 (Monday low) and invalidating Wednesday's support at 4,384 (Previous day low) to print 4,352 before closing near 4,364.

Heading into Friday, the 8:30 AM EST US CPI release will act as the primary expansion catalyst. The immediate bias remains heavy while price trades below the 4,384 broken floor. A hot CPI print targets the Previous week low at 4,330 and a breakdown toward 4,300, whereas a soft inflation print is required to ignite a short-covering rally back above 4,384 toward 4,426.

Classic playbook setup at the Shanghai open. Price grabbed the lows, sweeping sell-side liquidity down to the 4,430 handle where buyers stepped in.

Since no substantial highs were taken during the Asia session, there was zero interest in shorting.

🎯 Execution: Entered long at 4,435 following the sweep, trading the market back to the Asia high at 4,452.

✅ Result: +170 ticks win (+17 pts).

🧠 Sweep sell-side liquidity + no upper highs taken = clean long expansion back to session highs.
