Of course her husband has the right to have an opinion, and I never said having a different opinion is a crime. My point was about how that opinion is expressed. You can tell your partner, “I preferred your old hairstyle,” without insulting, humiliating, or making them feel bad about themselves. Having an opinion is normal. Respect should still be there on both sides.
If a husband deliberately did something he knew would hurt his wife, then yes, I’d understand why she was upset too. The same standard should apply to both people. But there’s still a difference between considering your partner’s feelings and believing they should have control over your appearance. You can dislike your partner’s haircut and say so respectfully without treating it like betrayal.
@graphics94430 @saniyafatma1278 Mutual respect goes both ways. Being married doesn’t mean you lose the right to make choices about your own appearance. You can discuss things with your partner, but respect is not the same as needing permission.
@SilverSeva@saniyafatma1278 You’re free to see me as a red flag. I simply don’t believe a woman changing her hairstyle is automatically disrespecting her husband. Disagreeing with that doesn’t mean I’m insulting him — it means we have different views on what respect in a relationship looks like.
@SantoshHbb@saniyafatma1278 You can disagree with me without insulting women or transgender people. A haircut doesn’t determine someone’s gender, and marriage doesn’t mean one partner owns the other person’s appearance.
@SantoshHbb@saniyafatma1278 You’re free to think that. I’m also free to believe that insulting someone because they disagree with you says far more than a haircut ever could.
@AsXsame@saniyafatma1278 A hairstyle is not a red flag. Controlling behavior, disrespect, manipulation, or aggression can be red flags. If a man runs away because a woman changed her hair, that says more about him than about her hairstyle.
Marriage is a partnership, but partnership doesn’t mean asking permission to change your own hair. Of course couples can talk about big changes, but one partner doesn’t own the other person’s appearance. Calling someone a “victim” or a “red flag” because they made a decision about their own body is exactly where I disagree with you.
@SilverSeva@saniyafatma1278 You can disagree with me, but insulting me doesn’t make your point stronger. I said the hairstyle is fine — I was talking about the behavior in the comment. And this reaction kind of proves my point.
Red flag is not dislike the new hairstyle what woman make to look younger and more beautiful for her and for his husband. Red flag is the way his husband said it and make women feel. And where you read in the story woman make it to upset his husband? There is lot of men who doesn't care how their wife hairstyle looks like or the one who love everything about their wife.
@Aktob316Toby@saniyafatma1278 The way he said it , yes he have right but its rude to say like this. If i was his wife i was run! Its very big red flag how he said to his wife. You never tell someone you love like this even true you are honest and you dislike hairstyle.
