@peppercoyote I've seen a pro make this point once and that was something that I had overlooked at first.
When you are going to make a concept art you search for references. You go look at people's work and sometimes you find new professionals this way.
Using gen AI erases that possibility.

@peppercoyote Eeeh... I'd say AI gen is more akin to tracing than it is actual learning.
What's more, by learning I'm also interacting and looking at other people's work. Even a professional constantly interacts and references other people's work.
Generative AI makes us stop looking.
