Ummm ok, Here is a brief summary of the matter so that people get a glimpse of the goings on.

Timeline of the Parth Pawar / Amadea Enterprises Mundhwa Land Transaction.

•Pre-1955: Land (Survey No. 88, Mundhwa, ~40-44 acres / ~16-17.5 hectares) classified as Mahar Watan land (hereditary service land granted to Mahar community families).
•1955: Maharashtra (then Bombay) government takes possession of the land (citing arrears/non-cultivation). Ownership updated to government (“Mumbai Sarkar”). Shortly after, leased to Botanical Survey of India (BSI) for a botanical garden.
•1973: Formal lease to BSI for 15 years (up to 1988), nominal rent ₹1/year.
•1988–1999: Lease extended/renewed retrospectively for 50 years, valid until March 2038.
•2007 onwards: Watandars (original holders, including Ashok Gaikwad & ~271 others) execute Power of Attorney and seek restoration of rights. Multiple applications filed.
•25 May 2021: Sheetal Tejwani (on behalf of watandars) executes notarized Power of Attorney in favour of Parth Pawar, granting broad powers over land transactions, revenue entries, courts, etc.
•1 June 2021: Parth Pawar writes to District Collector seeking acceptance of occupancy rights amount and 7/12 entries. Similar letter by Sheetal Tejwani.
•2021–2024: Alleged manipulations, including use of closed/outdated 7/12 records (new survey no. 1178 assigned in 2018).
•April 2025: Letter of Intent (LOI) for IT Park development on the land issued to Amadea Enterprises LLP. Agreement bears Parth Pawar’s signature. Business address listed as the BSI garden site.
•20 May 2025: Sale deed registered transferring the government land to Amadea Enterprises LLP (99% owned by Parth Pawar, partner Digvijay Amarsinh Patil) for ~₹300 crore. Only ₹500 stamp duty paid (claiming IT/ITES exemption instead of ~₹21 crore). Sub-registrar involved.
•26 May 2025: Amadea writes to Tehsildar citing lease clause, demanding cancellation of BSI lease and possession (claiming watandars deposited occupancy price in Dec 2024).
•June 2025: Tehsildar (Yeole) issues eviction notice to BSI, later ruled illegal.
•Nov 2025: Scandal breaks publicly. Government orders inquiry, suspends two revenue officers (Taru & Yewale), registers police complaint/FIR (names Sheetal Tejwani, Digvijay Patil; Parth not initially named). Kharge Committee formed.
•Feb–Mar 2026: Kharge Committee report tabled. Notes illegal PoA on government land, irregular sale deed. Recommends action against sellers, buyers, and officials. Some reports of “clean chit” to Parth disputed/criticised by us.

Officers face termination proceedings under Article 311.12

•Mar–Apr 2026: Extensions granted to Amadea for stamp duty recovery. Court quashes Sheetal Tejwani’s arrest as illegal.

•May 2026: Maharashtra Revenue Control Authority upholds ~₹21 crore stamp duty + penalty on Amadea. Appeal rejected; 60 days to approach Revenue Minister.

Key issues
•** undervaluation & stamp duty evasion**: Land market value ~₹1,600–1,800 crore sold for ₹300 crore with minimal duty via false exemption claim.
•Illegal transfer of government land: Use of closed records, forged/irregular documents, PoA on govt land deemed criminal.
•Parth Pawar’s direct involvement: PoA in his name (2021), signed letters/agreements, company ownership.

•BSI eviction attempt: Company & officials tried to evict central govt institution to claim possession.

•The land has housed BSI’s Western Regional Centre activities and a developing Mundhwa Botanical Garden (showcasing 400+ indigenous/endemic species) since 1955. Lease valid till 2038 at nominal rent.
•No full “conversion” succeeded; the attempted sale and eviction were challenged as illegal. District administration confirmed ongoing govt ownership and valid BSI lease.

The union budget & pollution

Instead of opening up renewable sectors such as 100 gigawatt of geothermal, (the existing thermal capacity can all be repurposed to geothermal), innovating with micro solar and net metering. Getting 200 GIgawatt of Nuclear preferably candlestick tech. We have this cockeyed business of 20,000 crores being thrust upon us in the name of “carbon capture”. All while the Adanis and Ambanis keep mining / selling / exploiting fossil fuels and this will keep India dirty, grubby & polluted cos we are hooked on cheap energy while destroying our forests and the worlds climate. Meanwhile almost all of India’s thermal power plants continue to burn coal., As of late 2025, India's total installed thermal power capacity is approximately 246.94 GW, which accounts for about 48.45% of the nation's total power generation capacity. Coal is more than 219 GW out of this. There is a coal rush to lay our hands on as much Coal as possible everywhere possible. The rest is also fossil
• Gas: 20.12 GW.
•Lignite: 6.62 GW.
•Diesel: 0.59 GW. 

All of the above contributes hugely to the toxic air we breathe in our cities everyday.

Never mind 12.5 lakh crore going to be thrown into infrastructure yet again without any Environmental Impact Assessments whatsoever. No idea of damage to natural capital and how the damage will be mitigated if any.

That’s a total Zero yet again.

All of this while technological advancement in geothermal, solar and candlestick nuclear allows us to get completely out of fossil fuel dependency within this decade. We continue to chase some pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I won’t be surprised if the entire 20,000 crore gets spent on some advertising for the government or hare brained schemes like mobile mist fountains mounted on trucks.

The Union Budget 2026-27 includes a proposal for a ₹20,000 crore outlay over the next five years to support Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) technologies across five industrial sectors: power, steel, cement, refineries, and chemicals. This initiative aims to align with the roadmap launched in December 2025 by scaling up CCUS technologies to achieve higher readiness levels in end-use applications. This initiative contributes to India's goal of net-zero emissions by supporting industrial decarbonisation. 

India’s total emissions are over 3.2 billion tons. This is mostly measured in Carbon emissions though there is lot more damage coming our way.

How you might ask.

There are over 750 derivatives which come from petroleum & fossil fuels. All of them get released into the atmosphere everytime we burn petrol to transport or power ourselves. Since we have a skew towards carbon as a gas (justifiably cos Carbon monoxide & dioxides or other such gases last over a 1000 years in the atmosphere) these sort of technologies get a lot more traction than they deserve. Unfortunately for all of us technology shows a lot more promise than reality. The costs to make it happen are prohibitive. The slick marketing comes for way cheaper. Globally the world continues to consume over 103 million barrels per day or 14.05 million metric tons per day or over 5.13 billion metric tons per year.

Meanwhile carbon capture has succeeded in getting to 64 million tons annually across 77 facilities worldwide. Even if they were to make it 10X in the next few years. Carbon Capture will at best reach 430 to 640 MMTPA million metric tons per annum by 2030 or even more farther.

The global carbon emissions per annum are in the range of 38 to 40 billion tons.

A thousand million = A billion and a billion is about one hundred crores. A million is only 10 lakhs. Just for perspective.

Carbon Capture is a joke being played out by the oil and gas lobby, developed nations and some scientists with vested interests on mostly poor countries and hapless people alongwith their own economies which aren’t being weaned off fossil fuels.

Today we celebrate the piece of crap that we have or call our constitution. We were cursed with founding fathers who had no view of what sort of a country they wanted. Stuck between servitude, feudalism and desirous of becoming a communist autocracy along with religious fissuring, an all powerful government led by the Congress party threw the country under a bus with a document which tried to accomodate everyone’s interests and ended up doing disservice to the most fundamental of democratic values. Seperation of Church from State. Religion is a fundamental right in India. Its constitutional. Dont blame one party over another, one lot of our people voted for a religious state and others tried to keep the religious state alive with constitutional protections in a conflicted constitution. Democracy died.

In fact: Most folk in India take appointment powers, Anti-Defection Laws, Whips, lack of Separation of Powers, religious beliefs as fundamental rights, All powerful untouchable bureaucracy, All powerful politicians, totally unaccountable government, in the Indian Constitution & system lightly. These are big defects until fixed, India will be compromised. We are unfortunate that No Prime Minister until today has had the Vision to fix the problems in our constitution and make it a document worthy of looking up to.

We will have 99.99% of India being very patriotic today without realising how the nation is held in chains by this document which destroys our basic freedoms and keeps us under a command and control quasi religious order. We can’t be called a democracy. We certainly are a country which still hasn’t found its potential because we are hobbled by this dirty document which undermines our ability to grow and deliver on the promise of free thinking and free speech for which protections are afforded to those who rule over us over the people themselves.

@KisanputraA every republic day we should ideally take stock on our constitution, its purpose and what’s working and what is not and use non partisan methods to change things that ensure our tomorrow is better than today. I’m trying - you should too.
