Mrs. Kiser

2nd Grade. When you ask your child “what did you do at school today?”, never accept “nothing” as an answer. We do so many incredible “somethings” every day!

We kicked off the “Float Your Boat” engineering challenge! Teams collaborated, listened actively, & designed boats to see how many pennies they could hold before sinking. Excited to refine and improve our designs tomorrow! #STEM #EngineeringKids #Collaboration #HandsOnLearning

Today’s scientific challenge: Save Sam!
Teams worked together to rescue their gummy worm using only their tools, no hands or voices!

Proud to say EVERY team saved Sam! 💪
Collaboration, problem-solving, and lots of smiles all around. #STEM #Teamwork #SecondGrade

Summer PD looks a little different this year…real-world history, deep dives into Meriwether Lewis and the War of 1812, and plenty of inspiration along the way.

CKLA curriculum, get ready… I’m coming back with fresh energy and big plans.

[Mrs. Kiser @KiserClass]

Keep reading. Keep believing. Keep pretending. And keep being who you are!

New adventures are just around the bend. DO GREAT THINGS, Kiser Class!
