VAR did everything to cancel Cunha’s legit goal. The ref Michael Salisbury refused to be part of that syndicate. Finally a refree with some courage.👏🏼👏🏼
You will be missed 😢 💔 by some of us Casemiro....you stood the test of time, against all transgressions rose to show that you were a dedicated player to MUFC...go well...🙏💯🎈🎉
🎙️ Darren Fletcher on Michael Carrick criticism:
“People keep bringing up Amad and Mbeumo’s form. But that tells you everything about how we watch football now. There was a period where Amad was doing everything… goals, assists, moments every week. And where did United finish? 15th.
So ask yourself… do you want one player carrying the team, or a team that actually functions? Because what you’re seeing now is structure. Responsibility shared across the pitch. Less dependence, more control.
Look at the individuals. Kobbie Mainoo… before Carrick, people questioned him. Now he’s winning duels, adding that aggression… you can even see the Casemiro influence in him. That’s development.
Sesko… not just a sub, but a weapon. Even Arsenal or Chelsea would pray for that kind of impact from their strikers. And then the experienced players putting in a decent shift. So instead of focusing on who’s not in the spotlight, look at what’s being built. Because right now, this is the most balanced United have looked in years. Let Carrick finish the job.”
🚨🎙️ Patrice Evra responds to criticism that Michael Carrick lacks structure and tactics:
🗣️ "It’s actually embarrassing seeing people question Michael Carrick’s tactics. You don’t win games without structure. You don’t control matches without a plan.
The problem I have with him is that he makes things look easy. You won't see him on the touchline spreading his hands and all the drama that coaches do. Hence, when he wins people think there’s nothing there. He's one of the most tactical minds I've seen.
These are few of the many things I've spotted under him:
📌 Kobbie Mainoo dropping deep instead of Casemiro. It wasn't like that before now was it? That's on the manager.
📌Bruno Fernandes playing free role. It's becoming impossible to pin him down. That's on the manager.
📌 Using a false nine with Bryan Mbeumo is not old-school just to drags centre-backs and creates space inside.
📌Matheus Cunha as a winger and an extra Midfielder in possession..
📌Luke Shaw not overlapping but instead covering up for an overlapping defender just to balance while still creating width.
He's made his coaching. Clear and deliberate.
So, if you can’t see it, that’s on you.
I'm sure if Carrick had a foreign name, people would be shouting “elite tactician” by now."
Here’s the video of Mason Mount shutting up Chelsea fans Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernández.
Payback for what Enzo did to him last season revenge is sweet. 😭😂
Man United have beaten Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea away in the same season for the first time since 1984/85. 🤩
Not even Sir Alex Ferguson managed to do this in his 27-year reign. 🤯
