Topdressing is all about feeding the crop while it’s growing, with the goal of delivering nutrients directly to the soil where they can be taken up by plant roots.

Sulphur is a key nutrient that supports nitrogen metabolism, protein synthesis, and essential enzyme activity.

Consider topdressing Sulphur if:
• Your crop is thriving—aim for extra yield!
• You didn’t put down very much sulphur at seeding and need a top-up
• You’ve had heavy rain events—sulphur is mobile in the soil and prone to leaching

Application & Timing:
• Liquid ATS via irrigation, or through dribble bars or dribble band nozzles on the sprayer
• Dry AMS broadcasted—best applied before rain
• Canola: apply up to early flowering
• Cereals: ideally apply before stem elongation

The rate depends on your yield goal and soil or tissue tests but aim for sufficient S to support the plants’ nitrogen needs!
