@ScooterCasterNY I am a School Bus driver, and insurance WILL cover this. They do not want a driver putting themselves in danger for a fight between teens let alone trying to stop THIS, because medical bills cost a lot more.
My heart aches for this guy though, he looks terrified of losing his job
@BlorpBleeepp@jackorangefr And I like the alien feel. Also, Nintendo is making them less sexually appealing for fan art, although that won’t stop fans lol.
@XBusterMk17@jackorangefr Also, I love the training headsets hanging ip beneath Slippy, and his home poster of Aquas, and all the little details of this new art department at Nintendo. Feels organic and lively.
Finally getting back to working on the novel series.
All 13 draft volumes have been done for well over 10 years, and now that my youngest kid is eight, I can focus on online editing this monster.
I know I haven’t made an update about the series in years, but I’m back at it!
@undyingnephalim **I always figured**
I’m stuck using speech to text dictation until I get surgery on my A1 pulley and my left thumb. And sometimes our 8 eye overlords misunderstand what I’m saying. Oh wow. *AI* overlords. Ugh.
I’m starting to think that AI is secretly aggressively whimsical.
They always figured the whale was sort of an organic ship and Senior was stuck in it, unable to leave the vessel, but I was 13 when I read that comic lol.
It wasn’t until a few years later that I figured it was an easter egg nod to Star Trek IV.
Mike West never gave Fox a lot of personality because Nintendo never wrote it in, but I’m not going to crap on it either.
I enjoy the many iterations of Fox. Steve Malpass was my favorite version, because he acted like a mercenary in Adventures, complained about having to do the job without a blaster and tools, and so forth.
And that’s because rare wrote the character. And then later Namco wrote the character for Assault. But Nintendo never gave him loads of personality until now.
I’m OK with that. It doesn’t feel like a betrayal. It just feels like he finally got some personality.
At least he’s a little bit brash. But without becoming arrogant and cocky like Falco, whose arrogance level is dialed up even more, now.
There’s also a dozen versions of Peter Parker. There are half a dozen versions of Bruce Banner. Frank Castle and Steven Rogers.
Good God, can you imagine a version of Fox like the 1980s Marvel video game Captain America? He turns to the camera, breaks the fourth wall, and says, “and remember kids, don’t do drugs!” 🤦♂️
And I’m sure there’s a fanfiction out there in the Multiverse that portrays him just like that.
No use sweating it; just make your version of Fox the best you can do for the character, to fit your vision for your fans for your game.
I’ll still jump in with both feet for Event Horizon.
That said, she’s not vocal about it, she’s not forcing either version of the character on anybody, and she doesn’t care much for people that are doing so.
I’m curious more about the gray fur version that we got in command.
But I like the pink one; I used to think those were pearls, until we were able to see it on a bigger screen where I realized that they were studs, and that was about as punk rock as she would get as a gang member lol.
They also thought the hoop earring was cool, as it had been taken from
Miyu.
@undyingnephalim Vein, manipulative … uplifting, positive.
What a combo.
My wife dislikes bubbly Katt. She embraces the new Monroe.
When people called her Krack Monroe, she said, “ she’s fighting for her life, the bubbly one is probably going to die the same way Marilyn did.”
Yowza. 🙀
