@SimisCatattx Omg right! Their site needs a serious overhaul. for sure. They show zero interest in doing so though, instead, they just keep dumping more webtoons on it drowning out anything good. And making their nonupdated lists seem ever more inconvenient to slug through.

@jordieseay But the difference is back then it was hard to get anything gay greenlit, so a story had to be absolute fire, it had to have a great premise, great cinematography, great acting, and great writing, or it was thrown away. Now if it's BL and there is a shower scene, its a tv show.

@jordieseay So then they started just putting out anything, flooding the market. In ten years the uptick in the amount of shows produced and in production has basically tripled. To do this they greenlit a bunch of very bad scripts, and expected everyone to still treat it like the ole days.

@SimisCatattx Webnovel is very terrible still, but it was worse before. Tapas at least pays their authors, but has a huge issue providing fair treatment to any of their novelists. The top ten has barely changed in 5yrs. And never will cause no one sees anything else. They make search 2 hard

@SimisCatattx The novels are pretty great on Tapas, I personally find them better than Webnovel, as an author of them myself Tapas pays out better. When you search, make sure you search past the top few, the top are well-read and never change giving no one else a chance at being seen.
