💔 I couldn't sleep tonight. These insects are everywhere. I was bitten repeatedly, and my children were bitten too.
The situation in Gaza is getting worse every day. With the lack of proper sanitation and pest control, insects have become another source of suffering for our families and children.

Dear Friends:

I am very pleased to tell you that I managed to get the egg trays back to camp and distributed without breaking a single one 🙌🏽!

I wasn’t able to buy extra eggs, as hoped, but the recipients were delighted and extremely grateful for what we did manage to achieve!

The last time anyone ate an egg around here was several months ago when we organised a similar initiative and everyone craved for them desperately!

Please note: This craving is not just a fancy but, rather, an indication of a generalised vitamin B-12 deficiency in the population. This essential nutrient is crucial for red blood cell formation and nerve function. Eggs are also full of protein to support muscle repair and growth and also healthy fats.

The cost of this important initiative was $480. Expensive, but it is an investment in people’s health and cheaper than medicine by far!

Please make a donation to cover our costs this time round and support regular initiatives. Without your financial support the people of our encampment would eat nothing but bread.

We need regular donors! Consider donating the cost of a daily coffee or drink, encourage others in your social networks and communities to take an interest in our work, our people and, especially, our children.
