What an atrocious week. How ironic that the same day I told people “I do not feel safe at work” that my symptoms developed. 4 members of my department have now tested positive (who I haven’t been near) and most of the school has been sent home. Finally they decide to close it.

@manapause Personally, I think four or so of the easy build kits were bargains. The rest weren’t. The marines (space and plague) and Reivers were incomplete units. The pox walkers were a strange number too 🤷🏻‍♂️ I was never that blown away aside from the aggressors, dread and blight hauler

Well, we now know the prices for all of these sets. I was surprised with some of these prices! I'm still on the fence here; the command edition is logically sound: it is a complete starter experience. But with half the models of Dark Imperium.

@DownsAlfie Urmm I think as it was a test base I didn’t prime it. I just used superglue to stick it down. On my new later models which haven’t messed up so far (fingers crossed), I have super glued it down, added a very thin layer of super glue across the top, then primed and painted

😭😭 I noticed yesterday on my test base that the sand is pulling away from the plastic on the base 😭😭 I seriously hope this doesn’t ruin tens of hours of painting on my new models that are all based this way now

@LordHighKobold Okay I have super glued it back on for now. It was tricky to get the superglue under there though 🤔🤔but I have just found a set of needle applicators you can buy to inject superglue underneath the sand. Might invest in those.
