Top of our priority under the office of the Lord Mayor @RonaldBalimwezo is waste management in the city of Kampala.
The people of Kampala produce around 2700 metric tonnes of waste daily and KCCA only manages to collect around 700 metric tonnes daily.

In the regard of finding a sustainable solution to the waste challenge, today the Deputy Lord Mayor, Nakabugo and my Office of Public Health had a meeting with interested partners discussing how we can turn Kampala waste into reusable products. As we continue with the engagements, we visited Kitezi land fill. We are also yet to visit Buyala land fill in the same regard.

We want a live-able clean city, a health and happy population and with that, we can continue to develop socially and economically.
