Today the Irish Government published their July 2025 asylum seeker numbers, along with a helpful chart illustrating the top 10 countries that people are coming from - none of which have direct flights to Ireland, meaning that these "refugees" are entering and leaving other safe European countries, because they want to come to Ireland, no doubt because of our soft welfare system.

Top Countries In Order:
1. Somalia
2. Nigeria
3. Pakistan
4. Afganistan
5. Georgia
6. Bangladesh
7. Vietnam
8. Ukraine
9. Zimbabwe
10. Sudan

There is at least one thing that the majority of these countries have in common - women are either treated as second-class citizens or as commodities.

People like me are meant to keep their face shut and not openly express the terror we feel. I can tell you that reading that list of countries fills me with dread and fear for the safety of women and children in particular.
