@CrossCountryUK cancelling a train with less than an hour to go means my kids won’t see their dad this weekend. No apology wanted, just a service that runs. Shambles.
@SW_Help please can we have the air con on (turned up) and the announcement volume turned down a little? On the 17:35 from Waterloo to Bournemouth. Thank you!
@JMPSimor As the grandchild of WW2 polish refugees (both POW) I am so grateful that the UK welcomed my grandparents in to ‘safe harbour’. I do not understand why we cannot provide space for those in such great need NOW at such a terrible time. It’s shameful.
I like to think Sue Gray is going to hand in her report the way I handed in my dissertation. With two minutes to spare, still warm from the photocopier, sketchy footnotes, a small hi-five for the bemused man on the desk. Before sinking a bottle of Pinot and sleeping for 19 hours.
@jamesstarsailor Yes, in my experience the fatigue does go. Bacon wheat crunchies and hot chocolate helped power me through. That and forcing myself to go for a walk. Get well soon🤩
