In light of recent conditions we'll be pushing a balancing change to the game. We hope to have this change live within the next 24 hours.

Every facility currently unlocks one upgrade stage per 24 hours. For players who joined at launch, that works. For anyone joining now, it means starting at stage zero and staying permanently behind, the gap cannot be closed, no matter how much you put into your facility.

From the next update, new players will be able to upgrade directly to the current stage. These catch-up upgrades will be priced above the standard cost and scale with the number of stages skipped, so players who have been mining since launch keep the advantage they earned.

100% of the fees paid by catch up miners will be burned.

This is a change we think the game needs in order to keep growing. We'll continue sharing adjustments as we make them.

The last 24 hours have been rough.

Following the heavy sell-off yesterday, we’ve spent the day assessing the state of the game’s economy and what we believe is the best path forward for the community.

After a lot of discussion, we’ve decided to permanently burn 100% of the tokens currently held in the development treasury. (Over 450k $KITTY).

These tokens were originally allocated to support future game features, but we believe strengthening the economy and giving the project the best chance to recover is the right decision.

As a result, our planned Gacha feature will be delayed while we reassess how to fund and implement it sustainably.

We’re still here, we’re still building, and our focus remains on making the game as enjoyable as possible for everyone who continues mining with us.
