Given that one of the running themes in the City is the fact that well-intentioned creations will become corrupted overtime due to greed, selfishness, and the darkness in human hearts, one of my notions has always been that the Five Fingers each initially started off as

members in all different places in the City. Perhaps rather than collective deities like the Index, the Pinky is more about individual destiny and purpose, but they've become so fixated on it that those destinies can justify anything they do if its for the sake of fate.

In hindsight Ryōshū being a dog person makes sense for RyoClair. Cause dog people would obviously like people who are the most like friendly pups. Therefore I think it would stand that Sinclair could be a cat person, because then when Ryōshū puts on the cat ears-
