Today is a happy day for Uganda and for the acoli community as we received 46 ex-combatants from LRA’s captivity. Many thanks to @KagutaMuseveni and @mkainerugaba for ensuring that the peace continuum continues through amnesty. @TodwongR@norbertmao@GuluCityCouncil

This is Aber Lillian from Kitgum. She was V/Guild Pres @Makerere and state minister for disaster.
To the news outlets that discredit Tabz, you can do that as you work on templates about her. You’ll need them sooner than later!
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
UPDF assures Parliament: Uganda remains peaceful and stable despite emerging threats to national security
Despite the grim picture, Otto assured Parliament that the security situation in Uganda is very, very stable, adding that following the successful 2026 general elections, preparations for the presidential and parliamentary swearing-in ceremonies are in progress, despite the looming threats to national security including; terrorism, subversion, sabotage, violent crime, transnational crime, cybercrime, livestock thefts, and environmental challenges persist thus the need for the heavy investment in Uganda’s security.
He noted, “The country remains peaceful and stable, threats to national security notwithstanding. However, the emerging threats necessitate strategic investment in modern technical capabilities force multipliers and enablers and human capital development to enhance the effectiveness and operational readiness of security forces. The UPDF maintains a robust and proactive posture in dealing with threats to national security.”
@mkainerugaba Dear CDF, there's visible transformation in the UPDF especially the Chieftaincy of Defence Intelligence and Security [DIS], the officers led by Afande Otto and Afande Amos are extremely professional and corrupt free.
Keep it up!
In 2020, Afande Fred responded to a night emergency call from an expectant mother, Rita Namboozo. He picked her up from miles away and safely delivered her to the hospital, where she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. That’s the kind of man we know him to be!
This is absolutely IRRESPONSIBLE,ndugu. Discourage it. Mimicking armed soldiers aiming guns from whatever point is very dangerous. Whether using toys, bamboo, or banana fibres,DON'T!
Politics is serious business, in many places, of life and death, why is it a game, a comedy to you? I see your group rounded up, etc by police, yet, it's fun to you? And keep doing silly things which don't add value at all?
A phone call might get you off a checkpoint, but it won’t get you out of danger when a crash comes. Crashes don’t answer to connections — choose safety over influence.
