A search of Hansard reveals Swarbrick never asked Chris Hipkins, when he was Prime Minister, to come to Auckland, walk the streets, and meet the homeless.

Yet homelessness surged under Labour: the 2023 Census recorded 112,500 people severely housing deprived — up from 99,000 in 2018.
