Here is my recap of the GOP debate, from a moderate Democrat's point of view:

- Ron DeSantis has no real substance. He refuses to answer questions because he's scared and insecure of his positions.

- Vivek Ramaswamy is an amazing speaker, with amazing charisma. He also has very little substance though. His substance is mimicking Donald Trump's policies so that he can get MAGA votes if Trump falters.

- Chris Christie and Nikki Haley make the most sense to me.

- Mike Pence is a too religious for me, but he is respectable and he is the best speaker of all of them.

- Tim Scott pushed several false narratives, but deep down he seems like a good person who wants the best for America.

- Asa Hutchinson makes some sense to me but I see no way how an old guy will get the nomination unless it's Trump.

- Doug Burgum didn't get to speak enough for me to really form an opinion.

The winner of the debate in my opinion was Mike Pence and Nikki Haley. If I was a Republican, I would vote for Chris Christie or Nikki Haley in the primaries.
