.@HarpalCheemaMLA, deceiving Punjabis seems to be the AAP government's favourite hobby. But please don't think the people of Punjab are fools. Stop cherry-picking data to paint a false picture of Punjab's economy.
You claim Punjab's GST collections have 'excelled' in the first quarter of 2026-2027, but the official year-on-year data tells a different story.
*Punjab's GST collection fell from ₹2,366 crore in May 2025 to ₹2,252 crore in May 2026, a drop of ₹114 crore, a negative growth of -5% annually.*
Punjab also slipped to 17th in the country, with 16 States/UTs performing better.
This is the real story of Punjab's economy. Had you focused on strengthening Punjab's economy instead of spreading false propaganda, the situation would have been very different.

I urge Prime Minister Sh @NarendraModi to enhance the financial assistance of Rs 1,600 crore announced for Punjab besides considering a one time loan waiver for farmers in flood affected areas.
I also demand an explanation from @AamAadmiParty govt after the shocking revelation during the PM’s visit that despite having Rs 12,000 crore with it under the Disaster Management Fund it failed to release aid when it was most needed. The AAP govt has compounded the woes of the Punjabis with this criminal negligence.
It is incumbent on chief minister @BhagwantMann to tell Punjabis what happened to the evidence on the basis of which he had dismissed Vijay Singla from the cabinet besides getting a corruption case registered against him. The CM had also claimed that the minister had admitted his guilt before him. Now it seems the @AamAadmiParty Delhi lobby has forced the investigating agencies to give a clean chit to Vijay Singla. The AAP govt has proved that it cannot proceed against one of its own even as it is launching a witch hunt against the opposition. This case needs to be transferred out of the State and probed by an independent agency to ensure justice is served.
