@dimmakilishi Once upon a time, I once worked in a company that produces snacks and my section was critical.
For real, people don't understand what is takes to get most things done.
Thank God heat did not kill me.
Two months ago, I casually glopped on a bottle of a new variant of a particular malt, and my life changed within 3 hours.
My jaw became itchy and stiff. I could barely sleep at night. I woke up late and rushed off to work without looking in the mirror. When I got to the office, the first thing I heard was, “What happened to your face?”
“My jaw has been itching, oh,” I casually answered.
“Your jaw ke! Have you seen your face?”
I looked in the mirror and almost passed out! 😂😂😂
“How did I become frog-faced overnight?! Why are my hands, chest, and tummy itching too?” Of course, I scratched, and my entire body exploded with large hives! I bought and took an antihistamine, hoping it would just go away. Nope! It took a series of IV, IM, oral, and topical medications, plus sleepless nights, for the hives and itching to finally go away after one week.
I bought another bottle of the drink, took pictures of the ingredients, and will be going for an allergy test soon.
Also, I know that lack of money and whatever people use to adulterate honey makes me struggle for breath, so I avoid honey like crazy!
PS: My brother said this is how I’ll look in pregnancy and called me “Hives induced thickilicious”.😭😭😭
In 1998, Venus and Serena Williams claimed they could defeat any male tennis player ranked outside the world's top 200.
Karsten Braasch, then ranked 203rd, accepted the challenge.
During the unofficial "Battle of the Sexes" matches at the Australian Open, Braasch defeated Serena 6-1, and went on to defeat Venus 6-2.
Make I drop this gist for my new followers 😂
When I was in the kidnappers’ den, their boss once handed me his phone and told me to install WhatsApp and TikTok for him.
I no even argue, I just collect the phone… but while I was there doing it, I quietly sneaked to check live scores to see how Manchester United were doing on the Premier League table 😂😭
Fear dey, tension dey everywhere… but somehow my brain still dey ask “how United dey go?” 😂
I still remember clearly, na November period I check am we were sitting in 9th position that time 😭💔
At that point I realized say nothing fit ever cure this my support for Manchester United. If I fit dey check table inside that kind situation, then nothing fit ever shake me again. 😭💔😂
United for life. ❤️
Glory, glory Manchester United. 🔴
My fellow Man United fans, make we connect 😂🔴
Someone asked if all these paparazzi for cows are necessary.
1. Cows are very emotional animal - their body responds to their emotions especially dairy Cattle. If they're happy they produce more milk, if they're sad they won't produce milk. That's why dairy farmers ensure they're well cared for.
Don't be surprised there's music in the background, it relaxes them and they produce more milk, some farms in Europe have TV in their shed that shows cartoons, they'll be happy & produce more milk - this is fact based on research.
Cows has best friends in the herd, if your remove the best friend maybe sell or k!||, they'll be sad or upset and it affects milk production (imagine how emotionally traumatized Naija cows dey)
2. Why do they have AC in the Shed.
The cattle breed in the video is Simmental breed, they have a very low heat tolerance. The heat affects the male sperm quality or breeding capacity while the female will have drastic low milk yield or even dëæth. I think the weather was hot that's why the cooling system is set up.
One reason why Vom in Plateau State is the dairy capital of Nigeria (that's where exotic breeds (Friesian etc) of cattle in Nigeria are reared) the cold temperature helps dairy Cattle to produce more milk, reducing stress.
If you want to set up and enjoy your dairy farm, carry your exotic cattle to Jos plateau the weather will help your business.
Sad Fact:
Nigeria's local breed milk yields an average of 1.5 - 2.5 litres per cow per day while Friesian yields 24-38 litres per day.
It begs the question why are our local breed the lowest milk producing breed in the world?
Dem go waka north to south, herders go beat them, no water, sometimes no feed, no medicine remember cows are emotional animals - to see that 1.5 litres seff na pump and beg!
Anyways happy weekend to you.

An update on our TV experiment.
In May, my wife mentioned maybe it was time to get a TV again. Almost 18 months since the old one broke. I agreed, and we bought one.
Here's what surprised me. The day it arrived, the kids were excited. I set it up, tested it, turned it off. And nobody asked to put it on.
That evening, after school and homework, they went to the park like always. Same on Wednesday and Thursday. The TV just sat on the wall like a forgotten thing. It first came on that Friday for movie night, same as always, just on the TV now instead of the laptop.
Three weeks in, and life is exactly how it was before. On Friday they watched a movie, and we had a short family Mario game session. Saturday, we built a lego puzzle until it was time for the Champions League final. Sunday, they wanted to go play with their friends after our family reading time, and it was my wife and I who said no, sit back, let's watch a family movie together.
That's a new thing. Twice a month we pick something educational and talk about it after. A chance to teach them about the world, about faith, about what other people go through. The rest of the time they pick their own.
People will say it's all devices now anyway, which is true. But the kids only use their tablets one hour each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and have done so for years. They walk around with books instead of devices.
I'm quite happy that the habit held even after the TV came back. Screentime is STILL way down, and family time is way up.
It's still the best family experiment of all time. Let's see where we are by December.
@AlansEniola@shxkxbabu Pesin wey dey support Arsenal
You think say difference dey between them and people wey dey do NEOLIFE? One believe say him go win UCL because of Arteta ball despite over 100 years of not winning European and the other believe say him go be billionaire because him sabi trek
As an Arsenal fan, I supported Bayern against Chelsea, Barcelona against Manchester United (twice), and Real Madrid against Liverpool.
In fact, I never backed an English side to win the UCL against a non-English opponent—unless Arsenal were involved. Call it karma, but that’s me.
I didn’t expect English teams to feel any pity for Arsenal after Saturday’s loss- fairs.
I have no issues with the banter from rival clubs because I’ve done it—and I’d do it again and again.
Monday Morning Wahala 😂
I was heading to work on a Monday morning, minding my business on public transport around UBA CMS. Suddenly, police flagged us down and asked me to step down. They opened my bag, saw my laptop and immediately demanded the receipt.
I calmly explained it was a company laptop, showed them the inventory tag and my company ID card. But the officer wasn’t having it. He insisted I must produce a receipt . Meanwhile, the bus driver and other passengers were waiting. He delayed me for a solid 10 minutes.
I was already getting frustrated when one angry woman from the bus came down, hands on her waist, and shouted:
“OGA, if you no provide your gun receipt too, we go get problem here!😂
The whole scene flipped instantly and wahala started😂, that was how they let us go😂
Na so one woman’s sharp mouth saved my Monday. If that’s your mom, God bless her! 🙏🏾
@ebuoe This is why I like we man UTD fans. We know say if our own bad sure the banter go come and we're not gonna be playing the fucking victim card shit.
@Ahlexmoralex @OnyxEra_1000X Certainly yes. He's the final umpire of the game and what he decides is what stands irrespective of VAR call or interference.
I really do miss football without VAR.
